Spraying for EEE mosquito infection may begin tonight in Jackson County

More aerial spraying to battle the destructive mosquito-borne Eastern equine encephalitis infection is scheduled, possibly including pieces of Grass Lake Township. The state began its spraying with 128,000 sections of land in the southwest corner of Michigan. More zones are planned to be showered Tuesday,including portions of Calhoun and Barry counties.
